I agree with Spirit of 66. The kids love this stuff and it will sell for sure. However, I also dislike these novelty jerseys. I feel we should have only our home jersey, our away jersey, our ANZAC jersey and our indigenous jersey. Perhaps we could wear the indigenous jersey in the 9s as well. I love our traditional home jersey. In my opinion it is the best jersey in existence.

I agree 100% about our traditional home jersey. There's not a better looking jersey anywhere in league.

Definitely with you on that! I love our traditional jersey and I reckon it's a big part of why I picked up Easts as my team back when I was a very young kid. I loved seeing my eldest brother strut around in the red, white and blue, with that broad 'V' that made his chest seem wider than it was! I knew then that there was no other team for me, I wanted to wear that jersey! Consequently, I always feel a bit cheated when we play in a different strip, except for special occasions like Anzac Day.

P.S. When it was just about worn out, he ripped the sleeves off a-la Artie Beetson. I couldn't wait to wear out my first one so I could do the same!

I pretty much agree with that, although I hate the idea of an away jersey. It should be an alternate jersey only worn if our jersey clashes with a home team. Otherwise we should always wear the traditional (home) jersey even when we play away.
