Ridiculous IMO.
Instead of trying to keep up with the Jones bringing out these silly looking jumpers they should release a traditional Roosters jumper with a collar that has been signed by a player. And if you are a member have your members number embroidered into the jumper under the emblem.

But I'm with you on the signed traditional jumper. I'd never part with my Brett Finch autographed jersey.

No entry to the Easts leagues back in the day for those guys because of their hair.
My understanding is that there was an exception to the rule for players. I was too young to get into the club in those days.
I must say though, Russel Fairfax called me the other day to welcome my wife as a Roosters member - I upgraded to a family chookpen membership. That was a great move from the club.

Agreed.
The jerseys looked much better with collars on them.

I agree with Spirit of 66. The kids love this stuff and it will sell for sure. However, I also dislike these novelty jerseys. I feel we should have only our home jersey, our away jersey, our ANZAC jersey and our indigenous jersey. Perhaps we could wear the indigenous jersey in the 9s as well. I love our traditional home jersey. In my opinion it is the best jersey in existence.
