When I read your post the thing that came to mind for me was last year in the game against the Warriors with the scores locked up & the Roosters put a kick in which a Warriors player retrieved it & ran it back through the middle of the Roosters broken defensive line & passed it to RTS on the fly & SKD had the chance to nail him but he was easily brushed off, a player with his experience should of made that tackle. Very disappointing.

Mate SKD could never defend, and his inability to be taught or coached how to, is of greater concern, people bag younger players and say that they are not ready for first grade due to their defensive concerns, yet we we play every week with one of the worst defenders i have seen.

SKD did cover well for Fergo last year and in many of last years games, he was our best player on field. In this case, If Robbo thinks there's no one better, then I accept that.

SKD was really good for the first month last season and pretty average afterwards. I am hoping the club doesn't get too sentimental and re-sign players like SKD who have done well over the years but whose best days are well behind them.
