The boys look good with the exception of Napa's left knee there is no strapping on any of them. Good sign that they are coming in to the season fresh.

Speaking of Napa looks like he has packed on a little bit of size will be interesting to see if it does anything for him.

Looks very good. Seems to have dried out quite well too, obviously a bit greasy though.

4 penalties in less than 4 minutes. Hopefully the refs realise this is a hit out for the players and not a chance to push their typical pre-season we are going to crack down on everything this year.

10 minutes gone - Manly dominating possesion. About to restart for our 3rd defensive set on our line in a row.

12 minutes gone - Tom drifts cross field and picks up a hard running Sironen with a short ball who crashes over.

20 minutes gone - Roosters get back to back penalties and get some ball inside Manlys 20 for the first time this game. Nice spread with Gordon throwing a lobbing cut out ball over the opposition wingers head to an unmarked Tupou who goes in untouched.

22 minutes gone - AWESOME Roosters try from 60m out. Watson puts Matterson into half a hole, Matterson with a left flick out to Gordon who draws and passes to Latrell who drags 1 or 2 over the line with him.

Credit to Toops who took a second tackle carry after the kick off, made 15 metres, stood in the tackle and got an offload away. It was the play that gave us the field position and put Manly on the back foot.
