His father's name is Wiremu but you may be right about it being his middle name.
If Adam/Wetere's dream is to play alongside RTS, I don't see the Roosters holding him for long.

He played a few games last year as Watere, for whatever reason he has chosen to use his middle name now. Thru me at first as well because he has a brother that goes ok as well.

I've known a couple of islander guys who have done this, mostly it's just so people can pronounce their names correctly.

Thanks Moose and Insider, that clears it up. Looking forward to watching him play this season.

But yeah fair point about the arm being protection. I'm more talking real quick spreads before the half has any real pressure on him.

While I've got you mate, what's your thoughts on Jesse Marschke (sp?)? I can't see the kid getting a run ahead of O'Sullivan and Lam. Seems a bit run happy, which obviously isn't terrible normally, except if you're getting crunched everytime like poor old Jesse was against Manly.
I really haven't seen enough of him to make a judgement. It was interesting that O'Sullivan and Lam got a shot against the Cowboys and Marschke didn't. That probably gives us an indication of what the club thinks

its been a while since I have seen him play, would need to put a lot of muscle on before being exposed to first grade.
