I stand corrected. Everyone except you knows. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised by your ignorance. Silly me.

Cheers Headless. I honestly couldn't be stuffed when it's clear its just a troll. I generally tell my dummy halves if the halves want quick ball on a spread aim to land it on their hip so given the half should be standing still for a quick shift out (so as to not take space off his centre) and he'll catch it with his arms out (meaning it's caught at about stomach height anyway) and pointed inside it seems like a good spot to quickly and powerfully get a long ball wide. But yeah fair point about the arm being protection. I'm more talking real quick spreads before the half has any real pressure on him.

While I've got you mate, what's your thoughts on Jesse Marschke (sp?)? I can't see the kid getting a run ahead of O'Sullivan and Lam. Seems a bit run happy, which obviously isn't terrible normally, except if you're getting crunched everytime like poor old Jesse was against Manly.

Gaz, Jesse played halfback in the GF and did well but wasn't selected in this years 9's squad. New recruit Mitch Cornish was selected but pulled out and Radley was drafted into the squad.

I agree with Yak, i can't see him progressing ahead of SOS or SOL.

You and Yak both have great footy brains, it is good reading your contributions. Sometimes differing views but there is no one size fit imo all re tactics skills etc.

Looks like the Marschke brothers are going to do a swapsy. Last year Jess was in the U20's team & Ben had to play second fiddle to Garvey where this year Ben I think will be the U20's hooker whilst Jesse plays second fiddle to Lammy.

Does anyone know why Pompey is being called Adam when his name is Wetere?
Seems such a shy young man. Good luck to him.

I think he shares the same first name as his dad & that Adam is his middle name & so there is no confusion he uses his middle name?

No troll bud. Just pointing out the obvious! Yet you still say you want your distributor to pass to a halves hip?? The only time this would happen in any game would be a stuff up by the distributor! If you want "Quick spreads" the half needs clean ball and be playing deeper and or wider not having reach down near his hip and standing still. Some retarded coaching if your not just taking the piss?

Geez dude that is some pretty piss poor trolling. I would say Yak has forgotten more about footy than most of us know.

Right you are. Yak has forgotten how to coach passing! The most basic fundamental in the game.

Perhaps if you stopped talking like such a smart arse, people might be prepared to listen to your opinion.

You've done yourself no favours by being narky from day 1. There's plenty of dribblers on here, but you've been calling out some of the few who are worth listening to.

If you want to be taken seriously, pull your head in and try engaging in a discussion without being a d*ck about it.

                                Forgotten?
