I would think the 8 might test them but they aren't hopeless by any stretch.

The rain can be a good leveler. I reckon it could actually help it to be a good hit out.

He wasnt a top 17 player at Penrith when he transferred to the Roosters last year so he was never going to be in the Roosters top 17 either.
But with a preseason under his belt & more time for the coaching staff to get to know him & what his capabilities are he will definitely be in contention this year.
He is probably just out of the Roosters 17 but I would think if there is 1 injury to our pack he will be the first cab off the rank to come in.
I really rate him & I think if he is given an opportunity he can force his way into the run on team.

The thing people forget about Manly is that they are a club with guts and pride. Even if you hate them you have to admit they are competitive even when they are weak. I expect they will surprise a few people as usual. When we are weak we are putrid and embarrassing.

Yeah but Barret is an under 16s coach. They left their culture when they signed him. As Tommy smith has said their recruitment has been deplorable.

I remember... They had the worst team at the start of the season and on the the 3rd round they met us....No one would back Manly but I recall that Foran just tore us apart...They're always tuff against us.
