I have to admit that i haven't taken much notice of Keary over the years understandably so as after all he was a rabbitt.But after realizing the error of his ways and moving to the mighty chookies i have been watching him closley.His running style will gel with pearces in fact he is very much like maloney with the ball in hand im tipping this combination to be really good this season.With Latrell and fergo trailing keary thru the line we will score a lot of 4 pointers this year .looking forward hoe they go against the eagles in the next trial.

like Maloney, he is a runner, but a different style to Maloney.

Generally, Keary is speed and at the line, passing late, generally, Maloney is more like Cliffy Lyons, look at the line, drift, see if he can get a man on the outside otherwise show and go.

Both PearceOffJackGibbsOn and Maloney also have the ability to see a man in space early, and so throw a long ball early, and to date, I haven't seen much of that from Keary, as his style is more direct.

I think that Keary will complement the dog whisperer, but in a different way to Maloney.

But I also believe Gordon with his smarts will benefit as well

Though he's a veteran he is no slouch.

My mate the Parramatta supporting pool cleaner reckons that Gordon's biggest strength is organising the defensive line from FB?
I tend to agree with him & I think thats why Robbo has him at FB & not Latrell.

I figured this would happen in an attempt to rotate Guerra/Carter at lock and also strengthen our prop rotation.

Alas it's only a trial but I think that's how it'll be for round 1.

Liu always plays in the middle.

Always played in the middle but his role has changed. He was always a late set carry. With no Cordner and Guerra playing lock he's forced to be an early set carry which doesn't really suit him IMO as his skill lies in the ability to catch out a defender stuck in the ruck or a lazy defender struggling to get back and use his late footwork to take advantage of that.

The opposition defensive line will always be more set for a play 1 or 2 carry than they will for a play 3 or 4 carry. Players like JWH are your perfect play 1 and 2 carries, Isaac Liu is the perfect play 3 or 4 ball carrier.

I'm willing to give Guerra a chance at lock but I see little value in him starting, the starting pack isn't as good as it should be.
