I would like to see how Kane Evans would go playing second-row. He is certainly athletic, has a good offload and might enjoy the open spaces. Could he defend an edge? Dunno. But neither could Guerra in 2016. Thoughts?

He's definitely athletic but he's quite awkward too and struggles with acceleration off the mark, when he finds top speed though he is a sight to behold.

Needs to be used in attack out wide and defend in the middle. I don't think he will make it if he keeps getting used in the middle in attack. Hasn't got the right physical attributes to play a 'traditional ' prop role, but out wide i think he could be devastating

What about the offload to RTS against Manly at Brookie in 2015, where Lui scored? Sensational!

I don't think he is cut out to be a prop in first grade. I don't think he has the mongrel and i don't think he has the body type to do it effectively. There was so much awful crabbing and handling last year, truly dreadful to watch most of the time. Easily dominated and barely ever dented th eline.
If he can improve his defence, i think he could make a good second rower.
He will have a lot of pressure on him this year with Knight & co on his heels in the pecking order. He has to to start showing something or be shown the door.

Protheroe was my favourite player at the time - though I admit he was pretty craphouse. Appleby is probably the worst player I have ever seen in our colours.
