The problem is if he moves back to France, he won't earn anything near what he is now at the Roosters. So he will do a better job looking after his family by staying at the Roosters. Apart from coaching Catalans, which would pay no where near the Roosters, where else can he earn decent coin in France?

He's actually an accomplished mime artist. Not many people know that about Robbo. Decent coin in mime in France.

Not sure how true that is, Souths were still playing their home games at the SFS when we were playing at Henson in 1990. I remember when the SFS got the worms in the soil but that was in the late 90s.

I will wait and see how he goes this season, am still disappointed on his non dropping of out of form players last season .He has 3 players that win as many games for you as they lose, in Fergo, SKD and Toops, not sure a side can carry 3 players in the one side, but we'll see what happens this season.

it enabled the players to be introduced to the crowd - like 1994 when the Muppet was coaching- not many of us there - the bloke behind us knew that Uncle Nick was going to sack Murray long before it happened - was waiting on the new coach to get out of his present contract- told us on a Sunday arvo home game before it was announced on the Monday that Gus Gould was to take over immediately with 3 games remaining- Big Jack Gibson Resigned as Football Management same day I recall as he handpicked Mark Murray as coach- Gus had a massive cleanout at the end of 1994- only a handful of players survived- Ricko/Salvo/Silva for example
