Deeply sad moment for his family - Depression can travel with all types of people - good natured kind driven successful people can have it as a life long travelling companion even when they are in loving and supportive relationships. It won't always manifest itself openly to others.

What many have said make the time to lookout for your family and friends. Best wishes and thoughts to his family.

As a footballer Chad sat in my memories as a courageous hardworking forward with the likes of Bunny Reilly, Always had my respect whilst he was with us.

AN online fundraiser has been set up to help support the children of Chad Robinson following his tragic death last month.
The GoFundMe page has already raised more than $18,000 to give to Robinson’s children Kiara and Cooper. Stu Benson started the page to honour Robinson’s contribution to an online forum — the Hills District Dads.
Benson said Robinson was an active member of the online community and was always on hand to help needy people in his area.
“Chad was the person if someone who lost a job and needed support or were down on their luck, he would be the one who had that level head,” Benson said.
“He was really solid, measured and super keen to make sure if someone needed someone to talk to they would pick up the phone.

“One of the last threads he made was when he was in the city waiting for a meeting. He was having lunch and watched a person trying to sell The Big Issue magazine.
“He watched as no-one bought one. Chad reached into his pocket, pulled out the last $20 he had and gave it to the bloke and said to him to keep the magazine.
“He was always someone who was trying to reach out to help.”
The 36-year-old former NRL player’s body was found in Kenthurst weeks after going missing. Benson said the more than 2000 group members had been impacted by Robinson’s death.
“He was vocal when he was going through troubles but in the end he became introverted,” Benson said. “As soon as I started the fundraiser, people’s response was immediate. It hit a lot of people hard.
      “He has left a void.”

Nice post indeed Frozen Chook. I can recall a standout game that was televised when he was playing for the roosters. It was that very game that Ray Warren and possibly also with Fatty who kept on referring to Chad (due to him playing a blinder) as the " kid ", a term used ever so frequently these days in the world of rugby league.
