I feel so ill reading this news. I had the same architect as Chad for a project (Souths fan) who said that Chad was the most beautiful human being he had ever met. RIP Chad and condolences to his family, particularly his 3 children, especially at this time of year I still have his photo on a calendar from the early 2000's and I am glad I kept it now. Please stay safe everybody and be nice to one another.

We will probably never know mate.

From the insight I have into people who have come close to going through with it, it is often a culmination of stuff over many years (decades even) rather than a snap decision. Some people are prone to it due to their character, which is often inherited. Chemical imbalance can play a part, but in my opinion that is in the minority of cases.

Sadly it is the kindest people who never lash out at others & bottle things up who are often afflicted by this. I've heard from a a couple of people that Chad was an incredibly good bloke.

Remember to talk to your mates regularly, especially the most selfless ones - even if all appears well on the surface.
