Some said the dude was galavanting overseas while the 20s when on the charge to win the NYC.

Also now that the club have also signed Mitch Cornish does that mean Mitch and Tyler are the halves for Wyong?

I like Nikorima but i dont see he has much of a future at the club even at Wyong and that is a shame.
Yeah he was overseas for the entire finals campaign, but I'm not sure that he would've been eligible anyway to play even if had been here and fit after doing his hammy, which I think was believed to still be an ongoing issue and thus why he was absent in the back end of the year.

But still, even hastings went to all the NYC finals games, and it's a bit of a dog move that Nikorima was off having fun overseas and not there supporting his teammates. But I think he'll be playing for wyong next year. if not ive got no doubt he'll get a gig somewhere else. We need to stop signing fringe halves we already have plenty!

Yeah I don't think it's possible to be 'too small' unless you wanna be a front rower or something.

It comes down to how tough and how talented you are. You're only too small if your tackling technique is shit and you can't kick/pass/run/step well enough for first grade.

If you're fit and your mind can keep up with the game, only cheap/grubby tackles are gonna hurt you.

The Pygmy Nikorima never impressed me at all in his 1st grade appearances and then more was his failure to support the club and the u/ 20s team during the final series via his overseas jaunt. Gutless.

Well I think of Mitch Williams the Wyong Roos hooker....tough as teak, some talent ...but maybe just too small for nrl forwards gig.

Only young kids, still learning their trade.Out of their depth last year.Having said that i thought that young watson showed some real potential and latrell was terrific in a beaten side he is going to create a lot of problems for the opposing defensive line out wide next season hopefully in the centers.

Yep. His exact words to Folkes "I've seen that Thurston in the second grade. He's too small, he'll never make it in first grade."

                SUPER DRAGON!

I just wish someone would teach him how to pass on the run. I don't even think he knows where it's going!

Is the rumour that Hastings may be headed to Catalans still just a rumour? And Nikorima back to Brisbane? Does this explain the need to sign the other Cornish?

Seems to me that the reason Bennett let Nklorima go was not the one he gave. He said he was too good not to be playing first grade.

Nikorima has been listed as one of the players who is part of the week 1 pre-season training.

I don't think either Nikorima or Hasting have much potentional. Hastings is so slow that I can not see how he is even a first grader and Nikorima is just too small for me. obviously this has been mentioned many times before but I think these issues are dealbreakers for both of them. I wanted to love Hastings but meh.

the telucrap was reporting on the weekend Hastings had been granted a release to join Catalans, don't know if that still stands now his move to Catalans has fallen through.
