He would need to be a one in a generation player to play first grade consistently with the low levels of maturity that he has
Hey KB can you expand on what some of this dumb shit is? There are plenty of footballers who have done some real dumb shit who don't seem to bother others.

Funny that those pranks annoy people, but the characters we have signed and that are already in the team dont?

Friend himself should be the last person to judge people.

Exactly right, by all rights Friend could have and should have been sacked from the club a number of times. I am not convinced he is fully committed to being a professional sportsmen by his reluctance to give up heavy drinking and smoking cigarettes. I find it extremely hypocritical for Friend to judge Hastings the way he does when he probably should instead look at himself in the mirror. I bet Hastings can also count to 6.

              Chook.
Sewer journalism from the Morlock organization again. Troubled Carney and Hastings. So it's guilt by association from the organization that hacked a dead girl's phone to read her messages. That made her parents think she was still alive.

To the best of my knowledge, Jackson Hastings hasn't pissed in his own mouth, set fire to his best mate's balls or dry humped a dog while off his face. All he's done is got on the bad side of a bloke who thinks he's too big for his jersey. And if fellow posters who have their favorites would read the article, they want money to get Paul Vaughn and already have Kurt Mann vying to play 5/8th.

But then, just like the Daily Shitwiper, never let the the truth get in the way of a shitcanning.

I think people are reading too much into the Friend v Hasting feud. Its more a symptom of the situation not the cause.

Unfortunately many chooks supporters are getting a kick out of the thought of Jake being the villain and Hastings the victim. Whether it's actually fact or not doesn't seem that important to them.

There have been stories of Hastings being a square peg in a round hole at the Chooks since he made his first grade debut. He has a contract for next year and if he wants to stick it out good luck to him, but I suspect he'll be wearing Wyong colours rather than Rooster ones. I find it strange that he cannot find another club, given that any young half with a sniff of talent is usually in high demand and have no trouble finding a club. There is more to Hastings seemingly being unwanted by most clubs than meets the eye ...

There is 2 fits for Hastings. Parramatta now that Reynolds has resigned with Souths. They need a half and they need a goal kicker, tho we would be picking up half his contract for next year, parramatta won't pay full freight. Secondly, and robinsons preferred option would b to offload him to Catalans. Could b a good move for Hastings if he can't get a start in the NRL.

Do you get that impression NC?

I can't make sense of that.

I have no doubt Jacko is a smartarse and probably has some issues with authority so can see how things fell apart. I expect he was more than willing to call out Friend for the crap he got up to like weekly benders in the offseason, an alcohol related incident that could have got him sacked, a general trend of blaming losses on the inexperienced players, or even Jakes struggles counting to 6 and tbh Jacko was probably telling him a few home truths. Perhaps though it should have been more senior figures at the club taking control of the Friend situation, not a young rookie upstart

On a side note, not too sure I'm happy with Todd Carney being back in town.

Cordner and Guerra don't mind a schooner or two with old Todd.

Well, f*** them if it's true. I hope, like James Maloney, he comes back and screws them hard without lube.

The dog rooter and the sandwich hand got what they wanted.
