Being a nice guy and well liked are irrelevant to his capabilities as a coach. Everywhere he has coached, he has been unsuccessful.

Being liked by all the players could also be because he was soft on their off field behavior.

Yeh outside of those who are prevalent in the media it's very much a case of commenting blind folded and as we all know second hand information is unreliable at best.
