Hopefully he will grow out of it

Actually I think Connor Watson is the find of the year
Go down injured? Or go down in a tackle too easy? I've heard criticisms about both in regards to him.

Assuming it's the first that he goes down injured too easy I think the positive is that he isn't leaving the field when it happens. You look at injury prone players like Matai and Dugan who go down a lot but they also leave the field on a consistent basis, wasting interchanges and causing disruption to the lineup. I think it's something he'll grow out of, he is only 18 after all and I don't really see it as an issue considering he's not leaving the field like I mentioned.

If it's the latter that he goes down too easy in some tackles and I have seen plenty of comments in regards to this it's an interesting one. Last year we had RTS who worked his ass off for 80 minutes, everything he did was with 110% effort and the biggest criticism of him was that he was doing too much work which meant when we needed a moment of brilliance from him he was already burnt out. Where as Latrell Mitchell will sometimes go through the motions on a kick return when he doesn't think anything is on and just take the tackle saving his energy for a moment in which he feels he can create something out of nothing. Two very different players, just about making sure the rest of the team compliments their styles. For us now with Latrell Mitchell as a our future fullback it's imperative that we have wingers who are extremely good at kick returns and play 1 & 2 carries to take that pressure off Mithcell. SKD is certainly a good start.

Whats interesting is that there were 12 players that debuted for the Roosters this year. I think that the performance of some of those was a definite highlight.
But it also showed me that TR was a bit restricted with what he could do in terms of under performing experienced players. People are happy to criticise him in terms of not dropping players but I don't think he had a choice much of the time due to injury and suspension

Exactly right there Kingbilly. I lost count of the number of times posters were demanding Robbo sack players and my immediate thought was 'and replace them with who exactly?'
