I think all the youngies sufferred a bit in there first year .....even Watson was blunderous the other night and so was Matterson .All three should be massive improvers by next year and I expect more from them. Latte Latrell is the man

Pretty sure it doesn't work like that.

Saints,cowboys and roosters were the only teams from last years 8 to play all the other top 8 teams twice, 14 games out of the 24 were v top 8.

Cronulla and Melbourne only played 11 of the 24games v top 8 sides.

Raiders had the "easiest" draw by playing 10 games v top 8 team. But realistically they only play 4 less games v the top 8 teams than the 3 teams who had to play the most at 14.

I think the Draw is done by some canadian mob after all teams put down there preferences of who they would prefer to play at home.

Huge game for both teams but if the Raiders win they get the home semi against the Sharks & they will be very hard to beat in front of a full house in Canberra. Then if they win that one they will then get another home semi playing in front of another full house & if they win that they will be playing in Sydney to play in the GF. I think Ricky can get them there.

Yeah mate, will be a cracker game today with both teams having something to play for, lot more pressure on tigers though, so unless ricky rests players then i think raiders will win.

Weeks one and two of the finals could both be in canberra depending if they finish 2 or 3 , but week 3 it would be in sydney, so realistically raiders can only play one home final.

Watson has a lot of potential but the concern with him is where does he end up playing? He needs to develop his kicking and passing a lot to be considered a quality half/five eighth. Mitchell will end up the better player in years to come.

Besides SST goal kicking prowess and the rookie Watson my season highlight was Politis support at the press conference when Robbo gave the NRL a serve in calling out Cummins.

I'm not 100% sure but yes its pretty close to that. The sides that finish near the bottom definitely get an easier draw the following year.
