I feel sorry for Cordner/SST/SKD having to play in this rabble of a side, they deserve better.

So what kid is Robbo going to serve up to the media in the press conference to protect the senior player group this week?

He can't do it to Mitchell this time, as he shifted him to the wing and took him out of the game.

IMO it will be Watson. He didn't lay on a bunch of points, and they scored 1 try through his corridor.

Sure, Pearce and Friend were worst on field and ruined most of our attacking opportunities with horrible options, laughable kicks, and some ofhe slowest distribution ever seen on a footy field. And yeah Pearce got steamrolled like a bitch by Harris on the line as well, but they are in the Teflon club.

****ing lowlight was that none of the boys backed him up. If they all run over the game stops. Because no one did we got caught out of position. 4-5 storm jerseys around him. Shit go from our boys. Same thing earlier this year when manly got up Mitchell.

Yep! You can't go from one of the best teams for the last three years to being wooden spoon contenders the next. Sure we lost a few key players but even to non roosters fans like the commentators still believe we still have good players to be competitive... It has to come down to tactics and discipline which comes from the top. Even in their rebuilding phase, you won't see a team like the storm playing this bad.

We all know we are crap. I think it was a good effort.

When will Politis wake up and sack Pearce?

                    • Must have a full clean out of all our garbage like Pearce and Fergo and so many incompetents too numerous to name. Robbo not far behind.

Clearly Robbo wanted to lose by less after last time but we had no attack at all. Mitchell might as well not have played at all. Coach keeps sending out the wrong team. We've got talent Robbo just refuses to use.

                      • We are now reduced to a team that measures success by the fewest number of points by which we lose. Well done Trent..

I can't see next year being any better unless we can enlist the services of an effective assistant coach. Robinson's game plan is non-existent. We have no set plays and no on-field direction. Tupou, Copely and Guerra have to be first to go. Tupou seems to be fearful of receiving the ball in case he gets tackled. He has zero confidence. SKD is past his prime and JWH has offered little since his injury last year.

Geoff Toovey said on NRL360 that the Roosters are a team which think that they can't win. He seems to be right. We're gone for this season so use the rest of the games. to experiment.

Nick Politis, why aren't you reading the riot act?

Couldn't agree more. It makes our players look like indistinctive robots and players like Mitchell will suffer long term as a result.
                          Boring to watch!!!

                          • So sad how far we've fallen. We're stuck with Pearce and Friend so it doesn't look like things will improve anytime soon.

                            • The first 2 Melbourne tries were dubious & again the Roosters had no luck in those decisions but the thing that killed the Roosters tonight was Pearce's inability again not to be able to get repeat sets, he does not have the ability to grubber into the opposition in goal.
I thought over all there was a big improvement in their defence but I think they should have moved Mitchell to FB when the score was 14-6.
Special mention to Boyd Cordner what an effort he is by far the Roosters best player.

I was all for the Roosters signing Farah, he would have made a big attacking difference if they had of signed him.
