  • Corey Norman - GUILTY

Guaranteed he will play this weekend...... Greenberg has already laid the platform that you can break the law and be found guilty and continue to play (as Liam Knight was allowed to) but act like a fool at a private party and you will get 8 weeks and fined $125K.

Hope I'm wrong but he will play against Penrith this weekend

You know now that time has passed since the Pearce incident it is much easier to see it in perspective. At the time it was blowing up a lot of people were saying enough, sack him, etc. Some 6 months later the picture seems somewhat clearer. These guys like Norman and Knight are being convicted of fairly serious criminal offences but their punishment is less than Pearce. Where is the public outrage? Why isn't the Daily telegraph declaring these guys as public enemy #1 as they did to Pearce. Pearce acted like an idiot but broke no laws. It really does not seem proportionally fair

Norman should get atleast 12 weeks.

The Pearce suspension is proving to be the most disgraceful decision ever.

Don't also forget Valentine Holmes pleading guilty to assault earlier this year for that Queensland Camp incident. No involvement or penalties from the NRL on that one either....

He pled guilty to drug possession?

In light of the other stuff and comparing Pearce he should be gone for eighteen months.

When was it known that he was going to plead guilty? Surely once he had given his solicitor his initial instructions. He should have been stood down immediately by the Eels, not playing the last 4 - 6 weeks.

Will be interesting to see what happens from here. Anything less than the Pearce suspension will indicate that the NRL condone criminal behaviour over stupid boyish hijinks.

very naïve to think Norman will cop anything close to what Pearce did, there is simply no consistency either on or off field in the NRL.

Norman was holding and rightly was found guilty. But there was no video.

I don't really care what they do to Norman - hopefully they go through due process.

But for the ****ing life of me I can't ****ing understand how those ****s at the ****ing NRL can ****ing justify what they did to Mitchell Pearce. Maybe their ****ed argument is that he bought the ****ing game into disre****ingpute. If the history of rugby ****ing league has taught us any ****ing thing it is that the game survives ****ing incidents like that.

Mitchell Pearce, and yes, the roosters were thrown under a ****ing bus. We're having the ****ing season from ****ing hell and what those ****ing pricks at the ****ing NRL did was a ****ing large ****ing factor in that.
