Kevin is right about Jake, some of the crap Friend has said in the press conferences about some players not trying whilst never ever being critical of himself is straight out of Robbie Farah's book of deflect away from my own performance bullshit. Robbo has had a nightmare of a season as a coach, this squad is not a 3 win, 11 loss squad and the issues would have been stamped out by a Bennett or Bellamy type coach months ago, there's numerous senior players that have become too comfortable at our club and should be moved on long before Jackson. Guerra and Friend are right at the top of the list, Pearce may need to go also.
Like I have said on many occasions, Robbo`s love for Pearce and Friend will come back to bite us in the long term..
The chance was there to make the tough decision on Pearce following his 3rd indiscretion, yet Robbo continued to defend him and allow him to have a mortgage on the no.7 jersey when he returned.
Now the Club is in a mess and certain players feel they are above the Club!!

I couldn't agree more Axe. The sole captaincy thing has gone to his head in more ways than one.

        Chook.

I think you could be on the money, you don't know neither do I but I think some senior players need to be moved on for the long term good of the club. We don't want to turn into the Tigers.

We don't know all the facts so I think speculation only makes things worse. Horrie's Twitter rants are very concerning though. He has always been one of my favourite roosters but I think whatever complaints he has with the club / captain / coach, I think he should not be airing them over Twitter as it puts his son in a very difficult position with his team mates and coach.

I saw Horrie when Jackson debuted, he looked fitter than most of the players out on the field.

Right or wrong it's a bad look.

His grave is only being back filled with these comments.

I think he may be referring to Robbie Farah.. Probably wrong. But falls even with the " leadership " claims gus has made recently.

Didn't Horrie spend he first 16+ years of Jackson's life basically having nothing to do with him and living in the US? I'm sure I recall around his debut last year in all the interviews him saying he was raised by his mum whenever they tried to work the "you must be so proud to follow in your father's footsteps" angle

MR things are bad.. @ the end of the day the club/coaches need to keep the senior players happy and wanting to remain Roosters, Hastings right or wrong rubs the majority the wrong way... As a club can they afford to lose the culture/majority for 1 player?? Looking from the out side and putting value on instant success Hastings must go! the sooner the better..

I agree....er 'Sonny'. That's assuming you are correct in your assertion that things are bad. But it all seems very petty to me if Friend is not passing Hastings the ball because he rubs him the wrong way. He is our captain and he needs to rise above that sort of childish rubbish. At work you often have to deal with people who rub you the wrong way, but you just get on with it. It works both ways. Hastings has to try harder to be a team player for sure and Friend as captain, needs to show leadership too.

That's exactly it. Horrie is right but it doesn't make what he is doing any better. End of the day SOH has not produced the goods on the field. On the other hand Jake Friend has proven that he is not the man to lead this great club. He also shown just how average a hooker he really is when things are not going our way. He also shown he should never be allowed to kick the ball again. He should watch footage of Cameron Smith kicking out of dummy half and realize that is not something he has the ability to do.

I would like to see Jackson leave - and do really well at another club.

Even last season Friend was not giving him the ball. This season it's gotten to the point of embarrassment.

I'd like to see him have a shave. The ugly little grommet is tough to look at.
