I thought he played as he has all year.. Quite well. Surprised at the hate he's attracted. It would be interesting to see matterson have more of a crack at centre to see if he can play there. Would allow Pearce, Hastings and Watson to fight out the halves and utility role. Watson looked very dangerous tonight but coming on with fresh legs on a bog track after 40-50 minutes can make you look good too.

IMO the club owes fans an explanation about why Hastings was punted to Wyong, why he isn't kicking anymore and why he'll probably go back to Wyong when Pearce returns. Joey was tight lipped about the decision during the pre-game talk. IMO cut away the rumours and tell us what's going on Robbo.

I thought SoH had a pretty good game. Just if he had that extra few yards of pace. When he had that ball in the clear you just knew he would get run down fairly quickly.
