On a serious note, exactly why we don't throw all of our free money at Cooper Cronk for a 2-year deal with an option for a 3rd I do not know.

I'd cream myself to have the 2nd best half in the game (by a mile) leading our team around the park. All of our star players would become 10% better players instantly.

This could very well be a genuine poster with some knowledge however any new forum member is likely to be another account setup by Turk or one of the other usual suspects.

There has been an influx of new members recently - we've seen it before, a few on here get together and just ruin it for everyone.

Guessing nobody significant? Maybe a random depth signing or two, but nobody's on the market and our season's over already. No real use rushing in and signing some random unless they are gonna help us long-term.

A couple of significant changes are the only thing that will get our season back on track and help with our young players developmnet.

I don't really care whether we come 9th or 15th. It's a failure either way.

It appears management have made some misjudgements to me. If that is the case I hope they have learnt from it. As the season has shown the 9 debutants mixed with the so called experienced players has not worked. Mitchell to a certain extent has been the bright light yet our team looks for a 18yr old. Wrong. The other bright sparks has been Watson and Matterson. The Fergo experiment / redemption is over for me and so too for our skipper due to 4 seasons of tactics being virtually identical. I admire him yet watching him is like watching a prize fighter in decline.

Its unfortunate that our failings started with last seasons retention/recruitment throw in off field drama's and injuries and there wasn't much hope this season. I just hope the team finishes the year with everyone wanting more, leaving all involved with some thing to look forward to next season..
