We have already been beaten by

    7th
    8th
    9th
    10th
    11th
    12th
    and
    13th

It's only fair that we have to play the top teams too....

    That makes some ugly reading.

      Exactly.

The draw hasn't been a concern for the past few seasons.

No reason the team we put out on paper can't beat any of the top sides.

Yes, and based on today's performance against the Dogs things are not only about to get ugly, but much worse than that and very embarrassing...Roosters are already being mocked and scoffed at by many in the media.

Hope more than a few Roosters fans will attend our remaining home games.

I have 4 tix i wont be using this year, unless the club flies and puts me up for the weekend. After our first 3 games i knew we couldn't make the finals. No point spending time and money going to syd to watch a below avg team.

If i lived in Sydney i would still go though.

as feared things haven't got any better in our tougher part of the draw, and looking at our remaining games I can't see many wins over the rest of the season.

            we play

            Dogs (H)
            Eels (A)
            Sharks (H)
            Storm (A)
            Broncos (H)
            Panthers (A)
            Cowboys (H)
            Dragons (H)
            Sharks (A)
            Broncos (A)

on current form maybe only 1 or 2 wins there, didn't think we would make the 8 this year but to only get 4-5 wins for the season that's plain horrific regardless of the injuries/suspensions.

without doubt Robbo has used up most of his credits in the bank this season, wouldn't want another season anything like this if he wants to hold onto the gig long term.

its so frustrating looking at a team like the Titans playing so well with a pretty average roster and seeing the absolute tripe we have dished up a lot of this season.

Can't argue with that last bit. When I see how some of the teams above us play (Saints for example) I am staggered at where we sit on the table.

External pessimist that I am, I can't see us winning another game this season. We are definitely spoon contenders.

this season is a total write off, if there are players who need surgery, get it done now so they can be ready for pre-season training, there is nothing to be gained trotting out players who are 80% fit, might as well pump games into the youngsters, doesn't matter if we get belted its happened with most of our experienced players playing anyway.

The Titans have had a healthy playing roster. So have all the teams at the top. FFS the Cowboys have had the same 17 for 18 months with barely a change.

We in contrast have had a shocking run of luck.

Why oh why do people continually downplay the importance of this?

We missed our best player for the first 8 or so weeks.

We missed our 2nd best player for the first 7 or weeks weeks and now the past two weeks and counting.

We've missed our halfback and most important player for virtually the whole season.

And we've missed the likes of SKD, SST, Liu, Copley and others for countless chunks of the season.

This on top of all the key players we lost in the offseaaon.

As if we, or any club with similar bad luck, would have been having a good season in our situation.

If we had a run of luck with injuries like the Cowboys we'd probably be comfortably in the bottom half of the 8.

But keep ignoring the shocking run of luck we've endured, as if its not that important even though it's THE most important factor in success.

We'll probably beat the top teams such is our season.

As long as the team keep a good account of themselves and Trent continues to give plenty of game time to players like Watson, Manu and co.

That would be the worst, come good only to just miss the 8 by a win or two would make me kick the farking cat around the block.

                            Chook.
