Fantastic return from our halfback tonight and he played very, very well. We looked like a much more settled and controlled team tonight albeit against a team that is not very good at footy but neither are St George or Penrith and we lost those matches.

I'm sorry Andrew Walker I do not recall your comment. Did I tell you that we would not win those matches? If I did say that then I must say that was a gross error in judgement on my part because I believe that Mitchell Pearce would have given us a much stronger chance to win those matches. His kicking game holds the key to our side and the extra 10-20 metres further back that the opposition start their sets in when he is there is utterly crucial. I think that the game we really missed Mitchell was against South Sydney in the opening round as we could not get out of our own end through poor kicking and they started a lot of sets on their own 30-40m line. I don't know if we win that game if he plays but I don't believe that South Sydney run over our team in the same way if he does play.
I think it's very sporting of Jack's Fur Coat to give credit where it is due. There is nothing wrong with critiquing poor form but the lines get crossed far too much I believe not that I am suggesting Jack's Fur Coat does this.

No welcome back from me, just do what he has to do and unless he gets us to the semis in a top four position, he's still on my bad books...
