  • Welcome back Mitchell Pearce

Fantastic return from our halfback tonight and he played very, very well. We looked like a much more settled and controlled team tonight albeit against a team that is not very good at footy but neither are St George or Penrith and we lost those matches.

Yup Pearce was what was needed a experienced head to steer the ship around, but we all knew that anyway.

He was terrific tonight and deserves the accolades.

I have been one of his many critics but credit where its due he made a big difference tonight.

          Im sure Lozza was impressed.

Yes his kicking game was faultless and had them on the back foot from the get go I take it you now realise I was right when after the Penrith loss I said we would have won at least two more matches with Pearce in the team

Yes Pearce cost our team a few games because he was a piss head. No welcome back from me, just do what he has to do and unless he gets us to the semis in a top four position, he's still on my bad books... Not the comics that anastas ahole reads.

Nice to have someone in the side who can kick long.

You're wrong about them. They can play, they beat the Broncos and had the Cowboys almost done as well. If they stay injury free they are a team who can go on a run and give it a shake

I'm sorry Andrew Walker I do not recall your comment. Did I tell you that we would not win those matches? If I did say that then I must say that was a gross error in judgement on my part because I believe that Mitchell Pearce would have given us a much stronger chance to win those matches. His kicking game holds the key to our side and the extra 10-20 metres further back that the opposition start their sets in when he is there is utterly crucial. I think that the game we really missed Mitchell was against South Sydney in the opening round as we could not get out of our own end through poor kicking and they started a lot of sets on their own 30-40m line. I don't know if we win that game if he plays but I don't believe that South Sydney run over our team in the same way if he does play.

I think it's very sporting of Jack's Fur Coat to give credit where it is due. There is nothing wrong with critiquing poor form but the lines get crossed far too much I believe not that I am suggesting Jack's Fur Coat does this.

Of course we have missed Pearce's organisation and his long kicking game. It has a major impact on our structures. It also relieves the pressure on Hastings.
                      Now where's Johnny........ ?

I'm with you ROC. One most impressive match does not make amends but I was impressed with his stewardship tackling and kicking. Great effort. More please.

An auspicious start but he owes plenty if he gets us into the 10 with a month to go....maybe

They are crap and losing to them was embarrassing.
