Drop yourself first!,we'd loose by 60 if Jake wasn't playing. We were missing 3 of our best forwards tonite, beetween them close to 400m in yardage. Not to mention the quick play the balls,Our halves are L platers that's the real problem not Jake.

I lost count of how many times he was pouring into open space with no one supporting him. Had it been 2013 he would've had 2 or 3 blokes running off either shoulder each time and set up a few tries tonight.
One of those supporting him in 2013,14 and 15 would have been the often criticized by some on here James Maloney.

Nikorima is not ready for FG pure and simple. Add the fact that he actually doesnt want to be in FG either, so hes mentally not ready for the gig anyway

Robbo is doing more harm than good by playing Nikorima in FG

I would take Burgess over Tupou at this point in time.

Unbelievable we let Jenko/Maloney go to re-sign some of these other plodders

If Pearce didn't implode himself in the off season Nikorima's introduction to First Grade would have been a far smoother one and probably off the bench (sometime mid season) and not from the get go in round 1. Agree on the talent Niko has but right now his confidence looks shot, hopefully Pearce returning to the team will restore some structure and confidence to the team.

Granville does play with the best half in the comp and one of the greatest players to play the game in the modern era, one of the best 5/8s in the comp a very solid fullback who can ball-play and on the back of a very dominant pack. If Friend was in the Cowboys he would also look a million dollars playing 80.

The Giraffe needs a stint in the Wyong team.

Agree, he looks completely rudderless without Jennings, maybe we can negotiate a swap with Radradara lol? Toops and that lanky winger from the Broncos Corey Oates are currently 'Poles Apart'.

60 odd tackles and four line break assists tonight from Friend.

Yes there were his usual couple of poor options but you can't argue with those stats.

The other plodders being; Taukeiaho, Napa, Liu, Cordner, JWH, SKD, Hastings & Latrell Mitchell?

The only bloke who we extended last year who's debatable is Toops, even then he was a last minute re-signing because he stayed for less and we had a bit left over the salary cap.

I reckon Granville has surpassed Friend and will continue to develop.

Friend is all heart. He is a Pit bull however lacks the smarts and composure.

Granville is more precise and effective.

Granville could never be described as precise. His passing from dummy half can crumble at times. See the GF where it was puss.

Lethal player, no doubt. His dummy half running is the best in the competiton.

                      But precise he ain't.

Also, put Granville in our current team and Friend at the Cowboys and I know who'd look a lot better.

Friend did set up our second & third try last night so to have him dropped is a very stupid comment.... Weak in defence, obviously some people are watching a different game than everyone else as Friend is solid in defence up the middle as it is very rare that he misses a tackle...

Tupou needs to play for Wyong next week as he clearly does not respect the concept of ball control and it is becoming very frustrating to watch him run the ball out of our own territory

Granville is a gun. But very rarely plays 80 minutes. For the last month he has started on the bench for kostyjasin (spelling?).

7 rounds into the season and we still have some who bang on each week about 'why we let RTS go?!' 'We didn't the club have the vision to see we needed Maloney?!' And all manner of other similar horse shit. Get over it. It's done. They're no longer with us. The club is doing its best with the squad that it has. That's the long and short of it. Either you're a believer or you're not.

Rooster 6 is absolutely right. The caliber of players we've re-signed should be something to crow about. Yet we have geese in here habitually telling us about the losses of RTS, Maloney and the like.
