I'm not sure, to be honest. I actually thought the fullback talk was all from this pre-season.

What I don't get was why we signed Copley. He was average at best for the Broncos and got dropped to Q cup for a while. Surely Roboo etc knew he was terrible? Is this a sign of how far we have sunk chasing Broncos discards?

Pretty sure Ferguson took unders for this season and next out of gratitude, the big coin will come his way in 2018 provided of course he plays as well as we know he can. Thing with Fergo is he dropped about 5kg getting prepared all off season for FB, now he's back at centre he will b looking to bulk up again. Jennings was let go because he wanted out, he wouldn't have made any difference to the current situation.

Fergo has been a bit off lately but seriously you must have been watching a different Jennings to me the last few weeks, he's been pedestrian at best. This is the recruitment/retention decision i think the club actually got right. Jennings would have been on $700k with us this year, back ended contract, **** THAT.

How much do you think Fergo is on at the moment. It has to be up around $500k. He has lost a lot of bulk to play fullback which helped him in previous years to power over his opponents. He does look a little ineffective at the moment.

Yeah and you woulda punted SKD instead of any one of them? Woulda been a dumb move. Although I do remember the calls for SKD to be sacked and Ford to get a shot at first grade. Carney? Can go pump some more roids at Sandor's gym in Thailand - you're getting too skinny mate. BJ, Takairangi and Linnett are all semi-respectable players now... but I don't think any would fit our vision.
