We have a captain who leads by example but does little to rally the troops on the field . I understand this can be frustrating to some here but imagine how frustrating it must be for the players when things are just not going right and your incapable of demonstrating any form of support. Let's be clear, I don't blame our players for this situation. The hole we are in sits fairly and squarely on the shoulders of the coaching staff. I don't blame Pearce, nor our injuries nor the loss of the players that have moved on. Sure these are all hurdles, with some planned and with some unforseen and quite a few to have to handle all at one time but none of these explain in my eyes at least the situation we currently face.

Given the performances so far this season, I am no longer concerned with simply getting 2 points, or our position on the table. Sure I like to see us winning again, but realistically any wins that come in the short term will be as a result of 1,2 or 3 of our players having exceptional games. And that will happen. However it won't solve the underlying problem... we are a very dumb side in football terms who rested on their laurels and now we are paying the price. You might disagree, and that's fine with me only before shooting me down offer an alternative perspective.

I feel for our rookies right now, but there is an upside to their situation. It will make them mentally tougher than they could ever have imagined. Rather ironically this is exactly what we need right now from our senior players. I have no doubt we will overcome this slide, and some will become inherently better players for it but unfortunately it will break some in the process. Guerra IMO is borderline right now.

I just want to see us get back to executing some basic fundamentals consistently. It may not be enough to win us many games but it is a step in the right direction at least. ATM I seeing the equivalent of as many thumbs in as many leaking pipes as we can muster, but little else.

The biggest problem at the Roosters is their defence. Until they get that right they will continue to struggle & that means even when the BIG 3 come back. The Roosters have been the best for 3 years because of their commitment to defence & teams who are in the top 3 defensively always make the 8. You can tell by our against this year how the commitment to defence is not there.

Our colours haven't changed. Same flogs to a large degree as last season, playing like flogs this year. Why? Here's a big question... Were most of them carried last season?

For both Souths and Cowboys the whole team had no line speed and let the opposition run 10 - 15 meters every tackle before catching them with very little aggression in most tackles. After 10 minutes some of our forwards were off their feet with exhaustion. The "warm up " before the game against Souths seemed to go on and on. in the heat.

Would love to see him in origin, as much as sbw, burgess, Graham and JWH, but it would make it more farcical than it already is.

He hasn't played any junior footy in Australia, and has only been in the country for two years.

I would still like to see an exhibition origin game where players play for the state where their team is situated.
