This is a token overreaction by QLD pretending to be all serious.
If it was any players that were certain to play or really on the verge nothing would have been done. Napa is close but to it its obvious that its not that close. Especially given QLD's ability to cover things up

I agree with what you are saying. In isolation they are very minor offences but would seem to be indicative of a greater problem. For years I have never been able to understand what I perceive as a lack of self discipline and drive in many NRL players that athletes in other professions demonstrate. Is it because they lack formal education? Is is because they think they have already made it by being in/near an NRL squad. Is it because at the end of the day most NRL players are bogans with low IQs and no understanding of the world?

What is so interesting about getting drunk? Yes we know they are young and keen to experience things life has to offer. But really I think it is indicative of a greater problem with the youth of Australia. NRL players seems to feel they are missing out on their youths. Isn't being a professional NRL player more exciting than doing a few lines or shots or whatever? Do you need drugs and alcohol to bang a lot of chicks? I don't get it.

Perhaps it's the status quo, they're young and don't realize what they have in front of them. I reckon they need to blow of steam like anyone, we just do it wiser as we get older.

I thought we had turned the corner with Robbo here in regards to poor Club discipline. He seemed to have built a good culture (with SBW) and we appeared to be the bench mark in that area.
