I note that Ben Hunt is saying that, to beat the Roosters, the Broncos need to slow us down in the first couple of tackles.

Watch for this Bennett tactic - it's something his teams have been allowed to get away with throughout his whole career: kick the ball deep and for the first two or three tackles stand as offside as you like (I'm talking 6 or 7 metres offside in an arc around the ruck) and have your markers stand side-by-side. This not only contains the opposition, but leads to handling errors.

I don't expect the referees to help us, but how we handle this tactic will determine the result.

If we are going to lose, I would be able to cope tonight. I don't want to lose to the Purple People Cheaters in a grand final, nor the hillbillies from up north. JT gets on my nerves (I am being polite) and I will never get over 2004 losing to a side with him in it.

I will never tolerate a loss in a game of this magnitude. If we lose my tv is going into the side of the neighbours house.
