Young Roger is an exceptional talent and one of the rare cases I believe where the player exceeds the lofty expectation places on him. Unfortunately this will not be with our club but if we can win a second premiership with him it would be fitting. I can not hold a grudge against him for choosing to maximising his value and I believe that our club perhaps could have done better in trying to retain him who knows.

The show must go on and fortunately we have a great culture and coaching philosophy built within our club and just like the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles did in season 2011 I believe we can still be title challengers even with a few key losses. Roger will be hard to replace but I do not believe he will have the Brad "Freddy" Fittler effect.

I think Roger is our most important player and we will miss him plenty.

Monumental stuff up to lose him.

But, as they say, life goes on.
Here's a few that would be right up there Hodges, Wing, Fletch, Cleal, Walker (Andrew),Blacklock and Hannant all good players atleast.

hahaha my thoughts exactly. Another couple of years at our club and RTS could have been the very first 2 million dollar player when the 2017 tv rights are out.
          Comment of the year:

RTS makes mistakes...he's far from perfect.
He was never going to stay with us once the money was waved in front of him by the Warriors.
Succeed or fail at the Warriors...who cares...double crossed us...so NZ can have him back...good riddance.

I always thought that RTS would never be at our club long term ...esp after achieveing a premiership and NZ rep honours at such an early age.
To be honest with his RU background, I always thought we'd eventually lose him to a desire to play for the All Blacks, particularly after spending a few seasons with SBW.

Who knows, perhaps now he may become a target for the NFL, if they are amazed at Jarryd Hayne, they will be blown away by RTS's evasive skills, and he's still very young and the amount of money he could potentially earn in American football, I will not be surprised to see him being targetted by NFL scouts looking to cash in on the Hayne thing ?

RTS will struggle at the Warriors. If their forwards don't dominate and roll on like the Roosters - and I can't see that happening - he will struggle to make an impact like he has at the Roosters. He will not be the same player next year and the knives will be out if he doesn't perform like they know he can. Different players around him, different plays and so on. Has happened to many others before him.

Hodges was flyblown when he left us.

Wing was disappointing but not even close.

Fletch was no big loss as we had plenty of cover for him.

Cleal was my favourite player but was nowhere near Roger.

Walker was also my favourite player but he was a nutcase.

                  Blacklock was a second grader.

                  Hannant......good one.

I think that the amazing starts he gets to the set with his carries will help their forwards greatly.

We were 10 points behind in the GF with 25 minutes left, against a great team, when SBW created 2 tries. He won us the game and the premiership.

If RTS turns out being more valuable to us than that this year then he goes to NZ with my blessing.

Watched 2013 again on the w'end, what a game, Gus was jizzing himself the whole game. Boyd and Sammy 'saved' us the game in the first 20, SBW won it in the last 20, and BBQ should have a Clive Churchill medal. RTS's power into the defensive line is amazing now compared to 2 yrs ago (when he was but a pup).

Yeah, we were so cruel to him.
                                Poor Roger.
