I trust our coach and management so much that I'll go with whatever they decide.

Congratulations Easts on a Top 2 Finish. Bet many of us didn't see this eventuating after the early series of losses, especially Cronulla games

Apparently someone said( not mentioning names nudge nudge wink wink) that you have to have your posts liked by others to get some red bars... Goes to show that some have multiple personality disorder in this forum. 😆😆😂😂

I'd be tempted to rest RTS.

He's the only player that would derail our entire season if injured.

If someone with injury could benefit with a week off then they should have it.
I would like to see Matagi get 50 minutes in preparation for the semis. I think he should start.
Manu should also get a run cause if a forward gets injured/suspended, he is next in line I think.
Ideally, we play our strongest side cause there will be nothing more satisfying that smashing Soft to win a minor premiership AGAIN!
If Brisbane happen to lose on Thursday the minor premiership is ours.
I guess it would be the ultimate sign of disrespect if we rested a few on Friday. I like this idea!
                Have I contradicted myself here?!

We could make adjustments especially if Pearce comes back and be competitive.

Who would replace RTS and go close to his contribution?

He's covered plenty of ground this season. Those hamstrings would appreciate a spell imo.

If Robbo thought resting one our forwards would benefit them, why not?
Aubbo goes back to the pack, and it would be a real insult to souths.

Who would need the rest though? They've all had a few breaks throughout the year I think. Plus with Jennings having a week off and Robbo resting over origin you'd have to think that we're pretty fresh considering our streak.

True but he's 21.. He should be able to recover and he hasn't looked tired.

We don't know how many players are carrying niggling injuries, that's why it's coaches call.I was just saying there could be merit to the idea.
Maybe giving our bench players more game time could benefit better.

This time of year coaches play the players till they drop through injury
Robbo has actually given the bench a lot more game time the past few games & it looks to be working well.

Our Water boy "Fitzy" it way overdue a rest

If last year is anything to go by, Robbo won't rest anyone for full games but he is likely to do what he did against Manly and, assuming the game is won or is inconsequential:

                                - Replace Friend with Mccillrick in the 53rd minute and leave him out there.
                                - Replace RTS with Hastings and shift Aubusson or Cordner to half (with 20 to go)
                                - Replace Hastings with the above.(with ample time to go)
                                - Replace a starting prop with Matagi 25 mins in and play him the rest of the game.

The only changes I see this week are:

McCillirk drops out, Aubusson goes back to the bench, Jennings comes in to the starting 13. Manu 18th man.

Unless Mitchell gets a run next week, if won't feature this year, I don't think. If an outside back is injured - God forbid - and SKD doesn't return, Aubo McCilrick will come into major calculations.
