    Home Final and will we rest players against the Vermin?

    With the Drizzle beating the Cows, we cannot finish any lower than second in the minor premiership and have now secured a home final.

    Wondering whether Robbo might rest a few of our boys to freshen them up for the first week of the finals. Matagi I expect will get a run and Robbo may rest Napa who has done a mountain of work and will just about be our most important forward in the final series. Our backrow I would be reluctant to change or rest as Guerra is starting to hit some form and Cordner although he has done a tower of work seems to be in the zone and the week off for him might be counter productive.

    Will Robbo blood Latrell? If so I don't think it will be at the expense of Elliot who is going from strength to strength and as still relatively new to FG needs more game time under his belt before the finals. Toops I would be reluctant resting as well as he is starting to build confidence and form just like Guerra. Jennings would have been freshened up with the week off so the only other option I can think of is possibly giving Fergo the week off but that would leave a very inexperienced right edge combination in defence of Hastings, Elliot in the centres and Mitchell on the wing.

    I think there will only be one or two changes.

      Storm will beat Broncos leaving us with little to play for.

                IF SKD trains well and wants to play, it'll be the perfect game to bring him back.

                  On other good news the vermin are now 7th. If we go with a weak team we might drop the game and let them back in.
                  Like I said last week, rest any players that may be carrying an injury otherwise they play.

                        No need to rest players. Perhaps training is altered but there is only 5 weeks left of the season. If you can't get up for these games you shouldn't be playing. Geez I'd love for skd to return. Not expecting it though.

                          Any more key players sit on the side line we won't be able to field a team. This is all or nothing, we field our best teams from now on in.

                            If the game is meaningless from the point of view how we finish, then why not blood Latrell Mitchell ..if for no other reason than to see how he'd cope if we need coverage for injuries to any of the threequarters from here on in.
