She is a joke, no other journalist likes her or respects her. She pretty much makes a lot crap up and twists the facts of a story to suit her sleazy theme. Her headlines are misleading and never give a true representation of the actual story. She is doing more harm to the NRL than our biased referees. I still haven't forgiven her for her stories on uncle nick and jennings and her bullshit piece after our GF win in 2013.

    • So the Cows have the Stockmen, the Broncos the Thoroughbreds, and we have Uncle Nick. The Dogs and Souffs have "interesting" 3rd party deals with Homebush stadium. All clubs push the boundaries of the salary cap. But some clubs are "smarter" than others.

Perhaps they can strip enough points to dislodge them from 2nd then we can eliminate em in style.
Yeah i know. But I guess there's an asterisk next to that year. Which made winning the 2013 comp all the more sweeter for me anyway.

I have no issue with teams fielding an illegal roster being disqualified from that years competition.

We won in 2002....fair and square.
Spot on JFC. 2002 the Roosters won, the 'dogs cheated - simple.

I'm hoping for a home final if where playing the Cowboys.

Playing up at Townsville with stadium full of Cows fans and the influence that can have on the game managers plus the humidity has to be worth a 10 point start to the home side.

                  • All this has done is to ignite the " NSW is against the Cowboys " for a forth year, this will only galvanize the NQ crowd against any traveling side.

Agree. Why doesn't this low life journalists stick to reporting scandals on crooked pollies allegedly leaked to her by ICAC. She does very little investigating with majority of her scoops given to her by disgruntled people. Leave the NRL to hacks like beetroot face and on your knees Bec.

Unless McClymont finds concrete evidence of a rort the NRL will sweep it under the carpet.
The paranoid Queenslanders will believe it is an agenda that the NRL don't want them to win anything otherwise.
She has probably been made to look a bit foolish so she may very well delve deeper into it.

They had to rush it out half finished because the cat was out of the bag. They did well to keep a lid on it as long as they did.

All they have to do is obtain valuations of the properties at the date of the sale. If they were sold at market value then game over. If they were sold under market value then game on.

                              • It was interesting hearing Ben Ikin's comments on this since he was on the board at the time it happened. He was talking about processes and how the Cowboys have no case to answer. Then he put his foot in by saying board members are required to communicate potential conflicts of interest to other board members, and that he was not made aware of these dealings at the time.

If the NRL wants any credibility then they should immediately ban any high-value "arms-length" dealings.
