Demetriou has been at a few clubs, including Roosters before getting the chop with attitude and other issues. He is playing centre at Manly at the moment and destroying the opposition with his short bursts of aggressive running style, only a short arse and weighing over 100kgs. Will be moving back to the forwards if he hits first grade. Needs to keep his attitude in check and his fitness

I like the delicate way he got past the Dogs' fullback... Like a runaway train hitting a mouse.

I think we have a winner with this one. He sat in front of me at Allianz at the end of last year and he looked like a 14 year old. When he finishes growing he's going to be a sensation.

yes he has a long way to go to be a consistent first grade footballer yet alone star, but you can't deny the kid has the clutch gene, when a game is there to be won he wants the ball in his hands, the last fortnight he has dragged the NYC over the line in the last couple of minutes and then there was also the SG Ball final last year as well.

if he is willing to put the hard work in and cut out the silly handling errors he is going to be something special for our club.

I tell you a kid that I really rate is Bernie Lewis, he also is only 18 this year. He made the QLD U18s side.
I have seen him play a few Massey games and he is very solid and quick. Also a very good defender.

People need to watch his games. To be honest. If they did a highlight reel of his games, there would be more mistakes than highlights. Last week he let in 3 tries and would have cost his team the game but scored at the end to get them out of trouble. Today against the Knights again made mistakes and let in a try and scored at the end. Too many handling areas in all his games and bad defensive issues. Has talent but so does his team, he is no standout in there alone. Just a shame the team is not coached better as they would be on top of the ladder, although the coach will not be doing it next year
