Toops doesn't talk enough to be a fullback, Mini & Slater, never shut up at the back, yelling directions to players to cover vunerable spaces in the defencsive line, and calling plays etc, not reallyToops strong point

Toops sometimes gives the impression he would rather be not there out on the field such is his on field demeanor so I wouldn't be keen on him moving to fullback. If he stays at the club his biggest problem next year is just keeping his first grade spot in the team with Burgess coming and Mitchell having a full off season having now turned 18.Originally posted by boogie

I don't think toops or fergo are fullbacks. I would be bringing up flyer Taylor from the 20s, dual schoolboy international in rugby and league, has apparently played there before, great under the high ball and defence, runs hard with electrifying speed. Has great work ethic and attitude. He would be happy to get the ball into his hands more and have the whole field to run around on. Mini could help him and both Mini and Sheck were all wingers and very athletic. Taylor will be too old for u20s next season and could be a perfect time to start the ball rolling

There is no need to worry about our retention/recruitment. Some big names and proven world class performers are on their way to our great club. Be patient and enjoy the next few years because they will continue to be top years for our club.
