Hodges' stiff arm was, when I was a boy, worthy of a send off. There was no doubt over the intent, it was a full blooded stiff arm to the jaw with no mitigation by any ducking into it by Hoffman. How the onfield officials completely missed it was a disgrace.
Also, in almost every tackle there was a Qld forearm, sometimes accompanied by a second player's forearm, grinding the tackled player's face into the turf - why is this tolerated?

That's why we just gotta give it back, and i think we did in origin 2. Also why i hate that you cannot smack someone in the chops anymore, more niggle without the fear off copping one in the noggin.
