    Agree. He was useless.

Rest of NSW were pretty good.

Pearce was strong and Jenko was magical - was this the first time a non spine player got MOTM in origin?

I've got to give credit to Hodkinson - he has limited ability, but a very cool head and makes clutch plays.

Napa v Klemmer would be a sight to behold.

Said it before but we should absolutely be in for Klemmer if Moa leaves. The guy is a hardarse.

Klemmer is certainly a star of the future. His charges got is on the front foot. Did he play the full second 40mins? Very impressed of so. He signed a 3 year deal worth a million as his first contract so they have high expectations.

The thing about Pearceys game was that extra bit of aggressio it had about it...he wasn't going to back down to anyone or anything. As a result he was in the game for 80 minutes probing asking questions not to mention his great defence.

In club land we see a slightly more subdued attitude that is prone to going with rather than consistently dominating a game.,.. Hence the criticism he sometimes wears.

I'm wondering if the 'c' beside his name is a good thing to that end...he might be better off just playing rather than worrying about that responsibility and leave it to Jake.

Hopefully we don't hear anything further on the shoulder charge he put on straight after his try as disallowed.

              Good to see Mal whinging...

Sure THAT Inglis try was a try IMO. However, it came off the back of Pearce's heroic match winning try being wrongfully disallowed.

The try before it was a BS piggyback try that involved 2 or 3 QLD knock-ons being called penalties.

Oh then Woods copped a forearm to the chin... and lost the ball. A few seconds later he grabbed a guy around the shoulders in a tackle and was penalised.

The refs were rubbish but it went both ways and QLD definitely had more 'luck' with the refs IMO.

I'm A Queenslander and I was happy for the try to be disallowed - thought it was a knock-on. when you go in for a tackle & touch the ball it's a knock-on any day of then week. JUST STOP SHOWING ALL THE REPLAYS & GET OVER IT. It's the commentators who cause all the fuss.
There's a reason why the young and idealistic become the old and cynical.
                  It's called experience.

In the end, what was that Inlgliss no try called for? For stripping, knocking on or if it was a knock on, wasn't Ingliss in an off-side position to pick up? When the refs went to the video for the Dugan try, that was frustrating cause in normal speed you couldn't see anything wrong and in the end, there was nothing wrong. This game is becoming like NFL with so many stoppages and soon we'll be having the refs throwing 'flags' on the ground where possible infringements may have been made.

I'm assuming this was for the blatant swinging forearm to Hoffman's head WHICH WAS NOT PENALISED AT THE TIME. Qld of course then went on to score with posession they should not have had. I didn't hear geniuses Rabs and Gus go on and on about that though, or the so called forward pass for Pearce's no try. Made a hell of a fuss about the Inglis no try though. And what about the blatant bias of Wally Lewis cheering on Inglis in his run downfield. PATHETIC! But I digress and should really start a whole new thread on that subject.

Agreed, I think the worst stoppage was when JT went down and feigned an injury after Cordner tackled him.

NSW were 50m down the field when the ref said 'actually lets take it back and check that tackle'. No penalty, but the ball got taken back to the 20 and rather than there being broken play, QLD were all lined up correctly.

They were looking for an 8 point try.

Not to mention that Dugan was away.

I have never seen anything like it. Surely they should let the play conclude.

I actually think Inglis was offside, not because of the strip ...but whether it was a strip or not is moot, as the ball hits the ground and bounces away it touches the Qlder (with orange boots) player's left shin then GI picks it up in front of him. Looked offside to me regardless of whether it was stripped or not !

Hodges' stiff arm was, when I was a boy, worthy of a send off. There was no doubt over the intent, it was a full blooded stiff arm to the jaw with no mitigation by any ducking into it by Hoffman. How the onfield officials completely missed it was a disgrace.

Also, in almost every tackle there was a Qld forearm, sometimes accompanied by a second player's forearm, grinding the tackled player's face into the turf - why is this tolerated?
