I'm willing to cut Smith some slack. I'm sick of these constant coaching merry-go rounds at our club. We've had that many coaches over the years perish after only a few seasons. It's about time the players looked at themselves.

The bulldogs had a rubbish season last year. Did they cut their losses immediately and appoint a new coach..NO!

It's hilarious that some people think it was all the players doing that got us to the GF last year and now they're playing like busted's it's the coaches fault.

Like anything if the higher management aren't doing their job it filters down leading to low self esteem. You must remember these boys spend more of their lives with each other than they do with their families. There is a very strong bond and loyalty. When someone gets shown the door they all feel it.

If u were a player,you would tolerate your coaches drill sergeant mentality on the training field, right?
But,would you tolerate your coaches drill sergeant mentality spilling over into your personal life? Do you want your coach asking where you are or where on the weekend & who you were with? Do you,a GROWN MAN want to ask your coaches permission to socialise with friends on weekends? All this is hypothetical of course (cough,couch)

If you don’t think that certain players aren’t deliberately playing bad then you probably believe that size does not matter.

Sally, the thing is, he is Coach, he is boss. He said from the start, it is by his rules and if they don't like, they can go.

A grown man should understand the club guidelines of not drinking while injured, A grown man should understand that there are people out there not in the best interests of the player.

the coach has one thing on his mind, creating a successful team.

how does the saying go, not everyone that puts shit on you is out to get you and not everyone that helps you out of shit does it to help you
