About 4 weeks ago I posted a message here criticizing Smith,questioning why he was even hired in the first place,I even went as far as to predict that his stint at the Roosters would be a repeat of Murray’s coaching performance & I was crucified for it.Didn’t bother wasting my time responding to the personal insults as I knew this half arsed coach would back up my comments with FACT & he did.Once again a woman is right.(Ouch)

Where is the know it all Brian Smith groupie now? Where are your personal insults,condescending comments now that our season is over thanks to Smith? Where are all the links to newspaper articles calling Smith a master coach,a master tactician? He a master all right, a masturbator!

This is what happens when you hire a coach that is famous for losing GF rather than winning them.Personalities are contagious; you never hang around with a loser because u will eventually become one.This explains why 1 certain senior member here so adamantly supports Smith.

The simple fact of the matter is,the boys got to the GF last year thanks to allot of individual brilliance & allot of luck.Smith just tagged along for the ride.Their luck has run out,the individual brilliance is hurt in more ways than 1 & so is our season.

Stevie Wonder could see which players are not performing & need to go.The fact that Smith continues to use some of these has been, over rated & never been players week after week proves that he is an absolute moron or does not have the gonads to make the tough decisions. His team selections week in & week out are laughable.They are getting spanked every week yet he keeps doing the same things. How can u keep doing the same things & expect change?

Week after they have absolutely nothing in attack, they are absolutely clueless in attack. When is Smith going to address this problem? He obviously cant.

Here we go! Crucify the coach time. Your comments are ill informed Sally. Take a few deep breaths. The coach can only work with what he has in terms of out of form players, particularly when they are in key positions. Its not like there are a bunch of superstars in the lower grades ready to be brought in to replace them. Doesn't work like that in the salary cap era I'm afraid.

Secondly the boys are dominating possession and field position at the moment which means they are doing plenty right. With decent halves they'd be slaying it. The fact we don't have decent halves isn't Smith's fault. Pearce is trying his best but needs support from Anasta, which he is isn't getting.

Obviously Carney is the missing link, the fact he isn't available isn't Smith's fault either.

The reality is Smith is doing about as well as could be hoped under fairly difficult circumstances. There won't be much of a turnaround until Anasta comes good or Carney returns, neither of which is likely to happen soon. It would be the same situation under any coach.

Last year it was all the talent of the players and Smith just "tagged along for the ride".

Now we are losing the players are doing no wrong and it's the coaches fault.

With Anasta, Mini and Ryles telling Uncle Nick that they don't want Carney to play, there lies a big problem.
I think you will find some want him to play yet our senior players are saying No.
Smith is also saying No while Uncle Nick wants him to play but is going with our senior group's decision.....for now.

I sympathise with Sally. After the Manly loss I commented on who we would want AFTER Smith has had his go and some idiots jumped on me higher than a pole vaulter but that's life around here.
As for Smith and people saying that he can only do with what he has...well with so many rep players from NSW, QLD, Australia and NZ on the team, what else are we to expect. The players are either playing to instructions, which THEY SUCK BIG Time, or Smith has lost control and the players are not listening to his game plan. Either way, it does come down to Smith. I disliked the guy before he came to the Roosters but have grown to like him and I do want him to succeed one day but he wont do it at the Roosters but I do hope I'm wrong. Were heading for a spoon people, wisen up!

Christ... Are we going to sack every coach after a year and a bit? This club chews through coaches like there is no tomorrow. Sooner or later coaches aren't going to want come anywhere near us - at least the coaches who have a record of success. It's the gutless, heartless players who have the problem, not the coach.
