Don't hold your breath waiting. Doubt we will see either of them this year and to be honest I don't think MK would add anything anyway. In my opinion his biggest problem was he put on way too much size, losing all mobility.
This is a very good question. The club wonders why it doesn't have many members. Perhaps if they made an announcement or kept their supporters up to date on such matters more supporters may show their loyalty.
In regards to Kennedy, if he is not guilty then he has been dealt a terrible hand. If he is guilty then surely the time has come to admit it and take his punishment.
Personally I would release Meehan. We don't need petty thieves and street thugs at the club.
If Russell Packer can get a gig after stomping on someone's head then if Willis Meehan gets done for for what he allegedly did then he'll get a contract somewhere. After we lobbied the NRL for Ferguson, the no dickhead's policy is kaput.
For ages we were told how Kali Meehan was guiding his son thru all the pit falls, and keeping him focused on boxing and footy, then all of a sudden out of the blue, the shit has hit the fan, and the youngster has turned ferrel, collecting a bad reputation and a criminal record along the way. Not exactly the type of person we want at the club, but he's a kid still, and deserves one more chance, and only one more, either he shapes up, and behaves himself, or we punt him. I'am not exactly sure his heart is in rugby league anyway, I don't think you can merge the two sports successfully given the different type of training methods required by both sports.
I still don't see how Kennedy has either been found guilty, admitted guilt or been dealt with appropriately. It is not right to leave him in permanent limbo. He is a young guy and should be thinking about how he is going to move on with his life, even if that is not with the Roosters or even in the NRL.
Don't worry about him moving on with his life. His "Snake Ranch" business is worth millions:
I've heard that a few times but I also heard he didn't have the cash to continue with his case so who knows. I just think a footballer
s professional life is a short one and the situation needs to be finalized one way or another. If he is indeed a drug cheat then let him piss off and play with his snakes but if he is innocent ...

Problem is it takes time to prove guilt or innocence if neither party is prepared to give an inch, which I reckon is what is happening here. It's your classic stand off, and ASADA know that the only one who really hurts in this is Martin, and are waiting for him to crack. It's no skin off their nose how long he is in limbo for.
Martin obviously doesn't have the evidence he needs to clear his name and get ASADA off his case, and resume his footy career. But he doesn't seem prepared to plead guilty to any charges either. There is no quick fix for this situation.

But shouldn't it be the case that ASADA have to prove their case, not the other way round. What I don't understand is that if he has been charged with something, then there should be some time limit on how the matter is to be dealt with. It shouldn't be open ended for either party I would have thought.
Of course ASADA have to prove their case, but they will take their sweet time about it, and I suspect will drag it out for as long as they can in the hope that he cracks in the meantime. And because it's not a court of law, there is no easy way to expedite the matter - you can't apply to a judge/magistrate to get the matter heard quickly. The only way Martin was ever get to get a quick resolution of this was to have the evidence to clear his name and move on with his footy and life.
