Let me put it this way, since Greenberg has been at the Dogs helm (?2007), compared to us, how many Dogs players have reportedly been in strife for off field demeanours?
We've certainly had more than our fair share of 1st graders - Sa, Pearce, Friend, Earl, Mason, Myles, Brunton, Carney, Watts. Grog being the common denominator.

Loig is not a sport played by angels. our guys are humans and it aint illegal to have a drink. they are young, wealthy and high profile and this makes going out and having a few easier and more enjoyable for them.
its why carneys "penalty" is so stupid. he did nothing illegal, just told them he wouldnt drink and then did. so what. hitting women and drink driving is inexcusable but so is turning young thrillseekers into monks
every club has some problems dogs included and the Swans who supposedly invented this no dickheads rule are mainly lucky that no one up here knows who any of their players are to dob them in or hit on them when they are out

There's been a subtle change in policy this year. We've discovered that a no dickhead policy keeps you out of the scandals, but also Grand Finals.

What a load of bullshit, ask Souffs fans and they'll tell you they have one of these policies too.
Just create a culture and recruit accordingly... in the right culture even those who have the potential to be misguided or mislead will fall into line. There's been some poor recruiting of key figures and influences at the club in the past...
When did Ben Roberts become the model citizen? Plenty of them (Bulldogs) have a history but they're all followers it's the leaders you need to look out for and I reckon everyone has a good idea about whom I'm referring too.

Spot on mate... They have a similar policy at the Sydney Swans and it seems to work for them!! I love our club and like many others am sick to death of reading about our players doing the wrong things!! If we can get our off field issues sorted then it will definitely show with our on field performances

Bulldogs NRL player Ben Barba accused police of racism after being arrested for striking a passing car and abusing two women in Mackay's central business district on New Year’s Eve.

Oh that's right, he's not a Roosters player.
