  • No Dickheads Policy asap

Bulldogs CEO Todd Greenberg (the best administrator in the game IMO) seems to have it right. Some very important aspects he looks for before chasing a player to the Dogs is personality, personal qualities and suitability e.g Kimmorley, Hannant, Stagg, Turner & Tolman. All with good work ethics, cleanskins AND GOOD ROLE MODELS.

To back this up, today they announced the signing of English Capt James Graham.

Take note Steve Noyce. It's a pretty simple philosophy and if adhered to, it usually leads to a more stable and successful football club. It will also drastically reduce the number of 4am phone calls you need to respond to for player misbehaviour.

Advice for Uncle Nick. In business you tend to go for the best....well i would be chuffed if you went all out & recruited Greenberg to the club, even if it means paying top $$$. It's vital to the clubs survival and success!!!

Excellent post mate. I think we are all tired of seeing these dickheads tear the club apart.

all he had to do was go to NSW Loig HQ aka The Cloey and ask around and he would have known all he needed to know.

suggests he is not such a genius

Have you seen him do anyhting dirty? Sledging, or mental disintegration as Steve Waugh wold like to call it, is rife in most sports, and Ennis is doing his best for his team.

Pity all of the fans are not following good role models.

Precisely. He competes at all levels on the field. Off the field he's your likeable, average family guy.

They have a $27.4M salary cap. They can sign who they like. The fact that a journeyman plodder as Ryan Tandy was revealed to be payed $180K a season by the Dogs suggests shows that if they are paying overs for crap, imagine what they are paying or the rep players they sign each year.. Forget that they could not re-sign Idris, he was on sweet fa and only this contract was he going to be on big money.

Bellamy and co gave Greenberg the thumbs up because whilst down there he was no troubles. Maybe his gambling problems were well conceived ???

He is playing great but the thread is about a 'no dickheads policy' which doesn't exist.. They sign the best players they can and with a bottomless salary cap it is successful.
