Clutch to me doesn't have to be brilliant or the 'show stopper' play. It's control where control is needed, a repeat set leading by 2 wth 5 minutes to go, finding the line with a few to go etc. Basically the opposite of what we watched last Friday night at Sandcorp from Pearce and Maloney.

Does A Reynolds fit this description?
Funny enough - Hodkinson, the worlds most plodding half stepped up with a special moment of his own in game 2.
I think it was more an element of surprise as no one, including himself, thought that he was capable of it.
Guess I've spent too long in the motor industry in the past to think beyond the circle.
Makes perfect sense now.
I don't think Reyolds has proved himself any better than Pearce when the chips are down.
Too hard to compare current playmakers to past ones either. The game is played in such an uncontrolled scramble now.

I believe that Laurie "Lozza" Daley has made a mistake in announcing his preference for club combinations at State of Origin representative level as I do not believe that any of the available club combinations are performing well with the exception of the South Sydney Rabbitohs halves pairing but their half back is currently injured. It is also perhaps even debatable that the halves pairing from the Newcastle Knights are in superior form than the incumbent halves pairing from the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and our own halves pairing which I am sure will not be exciting Laurie Daley.
I also do not believe that the New South Wales Blues can not defeat the Queensland Maroons this season without the help of Jarryd "The Hayne Plane" Hayne and that if our halves were to play in this seasons series and suffer another defeat they will take the full force of the blame. Laurie Daley may have to abandon his preference for combinations and allow Jarrod Mullen to enter the picture.

Daley may have preference for club combo, but he's not going to pick me if none are suitable enough.
