Calls are coming in Australia for the Roosters to persuade Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to do a u-turn on his move to the Warriors next season.
Pundit Matthew Johns and the commentators in Friday night's game between the Roosters and Broncos, said efforts should be made to keep the star fullback in Sydney, with Johns fearing a move to the club could ruin his career.
The NRL don't start registering contracts for next season until after round 13 this year and the Roosters, who have made no secret of the fact that they're gutted at losing Tuivasa-Sheck, have until then to try to keep him, even though he has a legally binding contract with the Warriors.
In 2013 the Warriors attempted something similar when they tried to talk Elijah Taylor out of joining the Panthers after he had signed with them, but Warriors CEO Jim Doyle fully expects Tuivasa-Sheck to be in a Warriors jersey next year.

Not really, all the article says is the Ch9 commentators and Matt Johns are saying the Roosters should make an effort to get RTS to change his mind. We already knew this....

It's just a recap for the peeps across the ditch.

While RTS is great in attack, if you look at all the tries scored against us this season, most of them went past or thru him very easily, his reading of defence from fullback is terrible, I was prepared to let learn that this season, but now he is moving on, put him back on the wing, and drop either SKD or Toops, both been way below whats acceptable, this season, ncde we have found a suitable fullback replacement.

After last weeks effort by the following players, I cant see a first grade career here for them anymore, and can be moved on.

McDonald - One run on the first tackle, skirts the sideline, and pushed over it.

Toops - Now teams have learnt to block his run thru to catch the ball over the tryline, brings little to the team, very lethargic attitude, runs too upright, so is easy meat to be picked up and rag dolled backwards.

SKD - Has finally run out of second chances, his rocks and diamonds game is now producing way too many rocks performances these days.

A few more on the borderline, I think there will be more heads to roll, come seasons end.

Still a disappointing coaching effort by Robbo, he has been here long enough to have stopped the stupid pot plant penalties, that kill us every week, by the same players, week after week.

quite clearly you haven't been watching the games at all, it's jennings and Tupou that should be dropped the 3 you mentioned were our best last week what is your logic???

I would say Jennings has actually been in quite good form. Had a pretty bad game last week but before that he'd been one of our best. He's looking for the ball a lot more this year which is really good.

Tupou is not going well and will leave unless he stays for unders.

Nene I think is actually a better runner than Tupou but needs to increase is work effort as Tupou runs far more than he does.

SKD has been really on and off but he was one of our best on Friday night and if Maloney and Tupou both leave then I think SKD should stay.

Maloney I think needs to go. He is getting old and can demand 750k at other clubs so I think he needs to go. He is a turnstile in defence and cost us the game on Friday with the missed tackle on Hunt plus his horrible field goal attempt on the 4th tackle

I don't know why you would even consider dropping Jennings ?? Tupou yes but no way to Jennings.

do you have anything of football logic to add chicken boy?? in relation to my post I watch our games at least twice our left side is the Australian left side you guys can keep your blinkers on but check out our squads stats it's rts SKD first and second and daylight third those two boys along with our forward pack need a good kick in the Ass getting dominated and to me when you wear the green and gold there's a standard and for me it's not being reached period

SKD was our best v Brisbane.
                            Harsh call.

The giraffe runs more than Nene because they kick to him. They know he is an easy target and is consistently forced back,
