Calls are coming in Australia for the Roosters to persuade Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to do a u-turn on his move to the Warriors next season.
Pundit Matthew Johns and the commentators in Friday night's game between the Roosters and Broncos, said efforts should be made to keep the star fullback in Sydney, with Johns fearing a move to the club could ruin his career.
The NRL don't start registering contracts for next season until after round 13 this year and the Roosters, who have made no secret of the fact that they're gutted at losing Tuivasa-Sheck, have until then to try to keep him, even though he has a legally binding contract with the Warriors.
In 2013 the Warriors attempted something similar when they tried to talk Elijah Taylor out of joining the Panthers after he had signed with them, but Warriors CEO Jim Doyle fully expects Tuivasa-Sheck to be in a Warriors jersey next year.
