  • ROC 181 - Maybe reckless , but attacking the legs of the kicker definitely not.

If you watch the vision in the link in Comment #158 by Frozen Chook there is a shoot in the 47th sec which has a good angle on the timing of the launch in relation to the time of the kick, watch his head and you will see "no intent to deliberately contact the player", the comment Frozen makes with the position of the Pocket Ref is correct he calls all clear and moves down field.

The field official is closer than us all , it is unfortunate that the Player was injured however these things happen.

Why is there trial by Vidiot when a player goes down injured? This is where the controversy starts by the continual reviewing of the field officials by the TMO.

Graham is definitely up there in the Grub stakes , I think he even acknowledges that it warranted a penalty but blew up delux when the incident went on report and the mark was advanced - watch all the vision and what happens in the back ground.

He turns his shoulder downwards much like doing a shoulder charge and he gets the leg. Graham has form of playing dirty much like Les Boyd did in his days. He's from the old school of players where you throw everything into it and if you injure, then that's the way it is. Of course those days are over now but it's hard for him to change. The fact that he waved for the trainer to get and help Reynolds doesn't change the fact that he was reckless.

I'm with you on this one ROC. Yes, Graham has form & he's conniving how he goes about things i.e leading with his head unintentionally. In the Reynold's instance although he wasn't looking directly at the kickers feet, i reckon via his peripheral vision he had a rough idea the area in which to torpedo himself and make it look accidental. It backfired on him terribly and he deserves what he gets.

      • Reynolds doesn't need surgery after all and will be back in 6 weeks.

A disgraceful and predictable hoax by McGuire to make it look worse than it was.

        • Will they send Reynolds to Arazona to "recover"
