  • Match Day Thread vs Raiders

I'm suprised this hasn't been put up yet..

Im very much looking forward to this game - our home game on a sunday arvo with one of my old faves Soliola back, as well as FPN against his old team (watch him have a blinder and never produce this peformance again).
I think that Fergo against his old team will play well and keep improving

Everyone expects us to win and that worries me because we tend to lose some of those games, especially after Raiders lost last week after having a big lead they will come out firing. I wouldn't be suprised if we lost but still expecting us to win by 6.

    Roosters 22-16

    FTS: Cordner
    LTS: Wighton

I too am afraid we might have a very scrappy game today, but if we click, I see us putting on a big score

I think this will be a good litmus test on how we compete against the 2nd tier teams. We have proved in the 1st 3 rounds we can match it with the best.

We will put on 50, or win by 8.

This game has me worried. We can always lift when we play the stronger teams but seem to save our bad games for the lower teams

in 2014 yes.... but in 2013 we carved them all up with ease, if we have that fire in the belly like we did back then (some of the boys have claimed they have) then we should run over this team today, i want to see more of that foot on the throat kind of playing we saw in 2013 today.

want to see a 2013 like performance from the boys today, need to discover that ruthless streak again.

also would love to see a 16+ win, which would jump us into 2nd on the table and above the vermin.

Looks like we have signed Joey Lussick from Parra. Listed as hooker in the 20's.

because of sporting conflicts today , im playing rugby at 2 pm I cant get to the game, fully expected it on 9 as per normal, but with the cricket final on it seems only the broncos Auckland game is on at 1130, that probably fulfils the contractual agreement with 9? but why couldn't they screen it on one of their other channels, I refuse to have fox, super league, politics and a distain for everything Murdoch, so now it seems I wont get to see this game!yes ill be there next sunday back in the pen, if anyone in the shire needs my chookpen pass contact me asap its your today 0290189330 will get me till 12 pm.

In 2013 we led Canberra 16-0 and got mowed down 24-22 down at the Nations Capital on a Monday night then at the SFS even though it never looked like we were going to lose we only won 28-22 with Blake Ferguson causing us lots of problems in the second half.
I hope we put Canberra to the sword today and beat them 50-0.

Even though it will be a small crowd...just fiends and family... The guys need to nail this one good and proper.

I'm sick of us not using these games to improve our for and against or at worse lose.

Fire up Easts and win like you can.

We'll win. A day match vs rooster discards. Willis meehan played strongly in 20s. We need him long term
