I posted after last weeks game we need to fix our forward pass problem, once again it cost us 4 tries today, even if they were marginal, and still called forward, there is no need for it.

Was good to see Sam Moa finish the game without a dumb play the ball stuff up'

The only disappointing thing to me today was no breaks made thru their forwards, by our forwards, they are not the most ferocious defending pack in the comp, but they held us all day in the forwards, with all the tries coming out wide by the backs.

Is there any news on Fergo's injury,I don't think the Fox team gave an update on how serious it is, and if it is the same ankle he broke earlier on.

Great to see our attack turn around from last week could see a lot of the double block play? being run and using rts.

Jennings try off that sweep was delicious unfortunately canberra got Jimmy a couple of times at the end to shut it down

So good to watch can't wait for the Broncos game 😁

The Fox team said Fergo won't be risked as it's not serious and he should be right for next week.

Great to see us finally put an 80 minute effort in one of these games we are expected to win.

Did well without our main prop...what happened with JWH?

Thought our halves were fantastic...and RTS yet again.

And nice engaged noisy crowd for only 9.5 grand.

One try conceded ... and from a kick. I can't grumble about that. We were never out of second gear.

I imagine that when it was time for JWH to return we had such a margin that Trent decided to not risk him due to his calf strain. He had a last minute test on it prior to kick off. Did it in the warm up. I just hope he didn't aggravate it in the game.

I would like to know the secondhalf completion rate. We dropped off badly.

Yes fletch, it is beyond a disgraceful f**king joke how teams are allowed every week to be offside against us knowing that the refs refuse to blow any penalties for us!! The refs are a cheating bunch of c***s, nothing ever f**king changes for about 10 years now against us!!

I blew up deluxe when the first penalty of the game against Moa was blown. I see that happen in every game, where a tackler has their arm caught deliberately by the player with the ball and can't get their arm out and the ref just says that's ok he is caught up, but of course when it is against us, the cheating c***s can't blow the pea out of the whistle quick enough!!

Had a great f**king laugh in the 9th minute in particular when the raiders were WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY offside, and the cheating ref c***s "STILL" wouldn't give us a penalty for our opponents being offside!! FMD it is so blatantly f**king obvious what is going on, when is the cheating ever going to f**king stop????????

The forward pass call with that try we scored in the second half was a f**king disgrace!! And that beautiful hit by Evans in the 1st half that caused an error, and then all of a sudden the ref blows a penalty, WTF??????????

Didn't really get out of 2nd gear but geez there were some great bits of play, running the ball on the 5th which led to SKD try in the first few minutes was refreshing to see, caught Canberra out early in the game.
The 3 second half tries were all pearlers, Maloney did so well to score down the side line and it was great seeing Toupu getting up in the air again scoring those tries like only he can, Jennings was on fire the whole game but boy he got gypped when the ref called the pass from him to Maloney forward, that would have been try no2 to Jimmy and would have gave us the chance to clock 40pts up, all in all some really good plays not helped by the refs.Glad they didn't risk Blake with the game out of reach.

67% - it was 72% in the first. When you're up by 20 and clearly dominating, I can't see anything wrong with trying a bit of razzle dazzle, but that does mean you make more mistakes.

Oracle you really need to take a bex and have a lie down champ. We won ffs, just enjoy it. Your just as bad too Fletch. We played some fantastic, open expansive footy, scored some beautiful try's and you blokes want to focus on the refereeing. Loved the brand we played today and just quietly, juniors ball to Fergo for his try was sub line. If JT or DCE had thrown that people would be proclaiming it the pass of the century

Sounds good OEW, but unfortunately for me the refs ruin the full enjoyment of the games we win. I should have been able to thoroughly enjoy the 2013 season after we had won the minor premiership and premiership, but the refs prevented that for me as their blatant cheating is a massive disgrace!!

The thing for me is that this bullshit is happening year after year after f**king year. When is it ever going to f**king stop?????? Yes we won today, but when the refs inevitably do the same thing against the better teams in the comp, it is going to cost us games, just like it did to us last year against womanly, knights, pamfers and $ouff$!! I want this somehow prevented, and someone from our club needs to come out and do something about it, otherwise it will just continue to happen.

Jared had slight injury/strain in the calf. He wanted to get back on the field with 12 minutes to go but he was told not to. He wasn't too happy lol! Gotta love his commitment but bigger fish for him to fry and his fitness is paramount.

Let's also not forget Canberra were dudded on that chip and chase or grubber in the 2nd half where the guy was called offside. He was line ball at worst. Their guy would have been under the posts.

I understand we get screwed and have been for years. But we also have a shocking habit of having teams on the back foot, bringing the ball outa their own end and giving them a leg up penalty. We did it again today 4 or 5 times. The perfect example was when Pearce gave the guy playing the ball a little shove. There is no need for it and of course Refs are not going to to miss that with us. We constantly do this game after game.
Now you can whine all you want about other teams get away with the same thing, but the bottom line is......we don't. So Pearce has gotta be smarter. Don't shove the guy. Sam can't put his hand on the ball in the first place. We have to be smarter when we have the opposition in trouble in their own quarter.

You are right One Eyed Willy (love that name), we should celebrate the win and forget about the dodgy calls.
