Today was just another example of why we must keep Maloney. Such a great foil for Pearce. A great support player and gives so much versatility to the attack. IMO Carney does not come close to Maloney.

Anyone know if there has been any progress in regards to Jimmy staying? Fletch? Gman?

He's great, but if push comes to shove we must hold on to RTS. He could be great for us until 2027.

He's the best attacking 5/8 in the comp. Foran doesn't come close.

What a great old style footy player he is. And then there's his goal kicking. The best we've probably ever had... certainly since Messenger

I agree RTS is a priority but I would rather lose SKD or Tupou than lose either Maloney or RTS. Obviously something has to give though coz I can't imagine Fergo is on a lot of money this year.

Bang on the money, if losing SKD and Toops means we can keep RTS and Maloney, then that is the way to go. I really want to keep hold of RTS and Maloney! Fingers crossed that they will both take less to stay with us. I would love to still keep hold of Toops, who knows, but if not then Macdonald really needs to step up!

I took the liberty of watching Jimmy closely at the game today...and not just because I captained him in super coach ...

This guy is one of the smartest players in the game...his talk and positioning of the team is plays ahead of his teammates and often opponents.

Couple that with his goalkicking and work rate he is simply one of the most valuable players in the game today.

He is worth every cent...the top priority for resigning for mine.

Couldn't agree more. Tommy smith summed it up nicely for me when he described Maloney as a "great old style footballer", He really is. Floats around and plays what's in front of him. A support player in the mould of Terry Lamb. Add his goal kicking and his defence has improved out of sight, and we just gotta keep him.

Maloney, RTS and Tupou are all must signs, Tupou had a pearler of game today too

I feel its a no brainer malonys footy is improving weekly, if in a while he slows down too much we still have hastings to learn his craft and at that time im sure jimmy whos from the central coast would be only too happy to play some with wyong?
